Vogue Jill

This sweet hard plastic doll is called Jill and she's very easy to identify as she is marked Jill, Vogue Dolls Inc, Made in USA, c 1957!  She measures 25 cm tall.  Her fabric-backed wig is glued to her head and she has sleeping eyes.  Not only is she jointed at the knees but she's also a walker, her head moving from side to side as her legs are walked.  Her dress is most likely an original Jill dress as it fits her well and has a Vogue label sewn into it.  Her feet were designed to wear plastic high heel shoes - hopefully one day I'll find her a pair!
