Corrine of Hollywood Turnabout Doll

This novelty doll measures 24 cm in height.  His body is made of felt and he has a wooden head that revolves by turning a wooden knob on top of his head.  The facial features have been applied by way of transfers.  The doll has its original tag which says Corrine of Hollywood, Turnabout Dolls, manufactured by Nova Co, Los Angeles, Calif.  Someone has kindly pencilled in Christmas 1945 on the tag so he would have been made around that time.
