Tiny peg wooden in egg

These types of peg wooden dolls were mainly made in Germany and Austria from 1900 to the 1930s.  They are known as peg woodens because they are made completely out of wood with wooden pegs in their moveable joints.  Most of them come in the 28-30 cm size range so this is one particularly unusual at only just under 1½ cm in length.  As it is so small it was quite difficult to photograph, and no doubt difficult to make!  I imagine a lot of them were lost over the years.  Arms and legs are jointed and moveable.  This one comes with a wooden egg that has "The smallest doll in the world" painted on it.
