Snow baby

This type of all bisque doll is known as a snow baby.   Her moulded outfit has a pebbly texture to it, as if snow has landed on her!  Snow babies were made in Germany from around 1901 through to the 1930s and are generally stamped Germany.  Most snow babies are unjointed figurines in various poses and it is rarer to find a jointed version.  This one is unmarked but the quality is definitely German.  She measures 14 cm in height.
