Lenci type

This felt doll is 60 cm tall.  She has many characteristics of the Italian Lenci dolls - the sideways painted eyes with extra eye dot, two fingers stitched together, zigzag stitching on the back of her neck - however she is unmarked and doesn't have ears (most Lencis did).  Nonetheless she has a lovely pouty expression.  Shoes look original however the rest of her outfit is a replacement.  She was obviously a doll that was loved and played with.  I think she would date from around the 1920s/30s.
