Fritz Bartenstein wax doll

This wax over papier-mache two face doll dates from the 1880s.  She is 38 cm tall.  Her body is made of carton covered with cloth, limbs are composition.  She has a crying and smiling face which are changed by means of a pull-string located in her torso.  Her head is encased in a hood to which her hair is attached.  Her clothes have some age but are not original.
