Character Dolls

Character dolls are popular with collectors as they are often lifelike and have wonderful expressions on their faces.  However they weren't so popular with children in their time who preferred the pretty dolly-face dolls.  A few of my favourite character dolls are featured here (click on the thumbnail pictures for more detail on each doll):
