Armand Marseille tribal doll
This unusual Armand Marseille bisque doll looks a lot like the frowning or scowling American Indian dolls they made, except that it has painted facial tattoos and the outfit looks more like an Islander outfit than that of an Indian. It could even be representing a Hawaiian tribal costume. It measures 20 cm in height. It doesn't have a mould number on the back of it's head, only Germany, AM and the size number 8/0. The eyes are fixed and the doll has an open mouth with teeth. Armand Marseille used a standard doll body and so it has moulded high heeled shoes for feet!
